Australian star Ellyse Perry is currently part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore on the course Women’s Premier League. The player hasn’t lived up to the hype, but that’s been the case with the entire franchise as they’ve been a bit out of shape.
When asked to choose her preferred opening partner between MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli, experienced Australian cricketer Ellyse Perry had an intelligent response. She said she would rather see Dhoni and Kohli hit together than start alongside them.

Ellyse Perry, who is part of RCB, shares the same team as the former India captain, so it would be an easy decision to pick India’s star batsman. Virat Kohli has been an integral part of the RCB men’s team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) since its inception in 2008.
Meanwhile, MS Dhoni is set to play for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) franchise, which is the second most successful team in the IPL, having clinched the title four times.

Ellyse Perry was on hand at a photo shoot for RCB where she was asked several questions about her life and cricket in general, when asked to choose between MSD and Kohli, the Australian said.
“I would pick them to lead off the batting and I get to watch rather than be a part of it.”
In the ongoing 2023 Women’s Premier League (WPL), Ellyse Perry played two matches and scored 44 runs at a strike rate of 169.23 and an average of 22, with her highest score of 31. She has yet to take any wickets and has maintained an economic rate of 10.84 while bowling.
