Once Jani was out, legpinner Shreyas Gopal and closer Vidwath Kaverappa raced down the bottom order. Kaverappa, one of Karnataka’s finds this season, finished on 5 for 83. In the absence of Prasidh Krishna, who is recovering from a back injury, Kaverappa took much of the responsibility and helped take Saurashtra out for 527.
