At one point in the game, Gujarat were on top of their opponents with Kim Garth picking up 5 wickets, but it was Grace Harris who stole the game from Gujarat with her match-winning strike.
After putting a decent 169 runs on the board thanks to Harleen Deol’s 46-run strike in the early innings, Gujarat were in control of the game as Kim Garth upset the UP Warriorz batting order with quick wickets inside the power play. However, captain Sneh Rana was unable to do much with the ball as she went wicketless in the game.

Sneh Rana spoke to the presenters during the post-match introduction and while she was unhappy with the loss, she was proud that her team fought back in the game and while the narrow loss was disappointing, things happen in cricket.

Gujarat Giants will now have to look for a win in the third match when they take on Royal Challengers Bangalore on March 8.
