Hayley Matthews crushed an outstanding 77 runs from 38 balls, with 13 fours and 1 sixes, while Sciver-Brunt crushed a brilliant 55 runs from 29 balls, with 9 fours and 1 sixes, to lead the Mumbai Indian Women to a dominating 19-round victory. 9 wickets in 14.2 overs

We were right to restrict them to a small amount – Harmanpreet Kaur

At the post-match presentation ceremony, Harmanpreet Kaur said that the bowlers did a great job of restricting RCB-W to a small total. He also talked about the slow surcharge on T20s.

“I think the hitting was the same, we pitched better in the first game than today, but we did well to restrict them to a small score. We just back each other to chase, everyone in the team is happy to do it their way and they are having fun,” stated Harmanpreet Kaur.

“It happens in T20s (at the slower surcharge), you have to give the bowlers that extra minute,” Harmanpreet Kaur said.

Harmanpreet Kaur & Co. will next take on Delhi Capitals Women (DEL-W), managed by Meg Lanning, on Thursday, March 9 at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai.
