Mindset plays a big role when adapting to different formats: Washington Sundar
Before appearing in the IND vs AUS ODI series, Washington Sundar gave an interview to ANI. During the interview, Washington Sundar was asked how he handles adapting to different formats. Sundar responded that mindset plays an important role when playing different formats.
“I feel like it’s the mindset you go in with during every practice session. You can play a one day game a couple of days later and what kind of mindset do you have before the game and how do you prepare before a particular game. What I feel is that preparation and mentality are very important because cricket is played a lot these days,” Sundar told ANI.
“Then it becomes very important to switch between formats. But I feel more than anything, it’s the mindset and how you choose to prepare before every game, no matter what format it is. So, I think the mentality is something that really matters a lot,” he further said.
