Former captain of the India national cricket team and Chairman of the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI), Sourav Gangulyhas predicted that Rohit Sharma & Co. will absolutely crush the Australian National Cricket Team in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023.
The first Test between India and Australia was played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Jamtha, Nagpur. The Australians went 177 and 91 in their two innings as the Men In Blue won by one innings and 132 runs.

Captain Rohit Sharma, multi-talented Ravindra Jadeja and supporting player Ravichandran Ashwin all performed exceptionally in the match, with Jadeja winning Man of the Match for his terrific all-around show.
The second test between the team managed by Rohit Sharma and the team managed by Pat Cummins was played at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. Australia batted better this time around and posted 263 and 113 on the board. However, it was not enough as India managed to secure a 6 wicket victory.

All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was once again the best player for India, winning the Man of the Match award. Also, with victory in the first two Tests, India managed to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
It will be tough for Australia to beat India – Sourav Ganguly
Sourav Ganguly believes that India can beat the visitors 4-0 in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023. Sourav Ganguly said that winning the remaining games of the series will be very difficult for Australia as Rohit Sharma & Co. are a far superior team on Indian soil.
“I see 4-0. It will be difficult for Australia to beat India. Under these conditions, we are a far superior team,” Sourav Ganguly told Rev Sports.
Meanwhile, the third test will be played at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore, from March 1-5 and the fourth test will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, from March 9-13.
