Shubman Gill joins Suresh Raina and KL Rahul on the Elite roster
The first batsman to set this record was Suresh Raina in 2010, who recorded a century on his Test debut. KL Rahul joined Raina on this list in 2016. When Rahul made his white ball appearances two years after his Test debut, it was in 2014. In his ODI debut against Zimbabwe, he hit a century.
Rahul and Raina joined Rohit Sharma’s list in 2017. To join this distinguished list, Gill achieved a century after six years in all forms. In 2023, the young player will have three ODI centuries, a T20I century and a Test century. The double century against New Zealand is in the top three ODI tons.

When it comes to international athletes, this list also includes Mahela Jayawardene (2010), Tillakaratne Dilshan (2011), Ahmed Shehzad (2014), Tamim Iqbal (2016), David Warner (2019) and Babar Azam (2022).
