IND vs AUS: “Australian Team Itself Is A Duplicate One”- Harbhajan Singh Tears Into Australia After Humiliating Delhi Test Defeat

Harbhajan Singh

ex indian spinner harbhajan singh considers Australia’s pessimistic attitude to be a major part of their defeat in the first two Tests of the ongoing series against India.

He believes that Australia came to India unprepared, implying that they simply practiced numerous ways of throwing out their wickets. Harbhajan Singh stressed that the Australians had already lost before the first pitch of the series was bowled to the bewilderment of the visitors.

Harbhajan Singh, a legend in India, criticized the Pat Cummins-led team after the defeat, referring to them as a “duplicate” Australian team.

“Australia practiced against the duplicate of Ravichandran Ashwin, but I think the Australian team itself is a duplicate. Their mentality is such that they only focus on negative things. They created so much confusion that they lost the game before the first ball was even thrown out. It doesn’t look like they have done any preparation for this tour. Looking at their performance, I think the only thing they practiced was going out.” Harbhajan Singh said.

Significantly, the Australian batsmen so far in the series have struggled to take on the Indian spinners. In the second Test at Delhi, they scored a respectable 263 runs in their first innings, but were bowled out for just 113 runs in their second.

“I have absolutely no doubt that India will win 4-0”: Harbhajan Singh

Harbhajan Singh emphasized how in the series, the guests seem like a pale reflection of themselves. He said the team’s hitters are getting anxious in the locker room.

“I have absolutely no doubt that India will win 4-0. Even if it was a 10 match series, India would beat Australia 10-0 because this Australian team has no firepower. If there is something on the field of play, they shoot their wickets from the dressing room itself. Harbhajan elaborated.

India finished with a comprehensive six wicket victory in Delhi to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series. In addition to winning, they have now won the Border-Gavaskar Trophy four times in a row.

By performing stronger in the last two games, the Pat Cummins-led team has a chance to salvage something. On Wednesday, March 1, the third test is scheduled to begin at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.
